About the Journal

About the Journal

IJRDO – Journal of Language, Gender and Literature Studies is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly work in language, literature, gender studies, and related areas of cultural and social inquiry. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, and scholars to share original research, critical perspectives, and new interpretations of language and literary expression.

The journal welcomes research that examines language in social and cultural contexts, literary traditions, gender representation, identity, discourse, and the relationship between texts and society. It encourages interdisciplinary work that brings together perspectives from the humanities and related fields. Submissions are assessed for originality, academic relevance, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Aim and Purpose

The journal aims to support meaningful academic discussion on language, literature, gender, and culture. It seeks to provide space for diverse scholarly voices, encourage critical inquiry, and promote research that deepens understanding of how language and literary works reflect and shape human experiences, identities, and social relationships.

Peer Review and Publication Ethics

All submissions are subject to an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal. Manuscripts that meet the journal's requirements proceed to double-blind peer review, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers' comments, the quality of the research, and the journal's publication standards. Authors are expected to submit original work, acknowledge sources appropriately, and follow accepted standards of research and publication ethics.

Open Access Policy

The journal follows an open-access publishing model intended to make scholarly research available to readers without subscription barriers. This approach supports the wider dissemination of academic work and enables researchers, students, and other readers to access published scholarship.

Publication Frequency

The journal follows a quarterly publication schedule, with four issues planned each year in March, June, September, and December. Manuscripts are processed through editorial assessment and peer review before a publication decision is made.
